These weapons are ornamented with Damascene or Koftgari work, in Pure Gold & Silver, the art of ?Damascene & Koftgari is alive with some traditional swordsmith families and still practiced in Udaipur (Rajasthan) where some of the beautiful weapons are still being made and available to collectors of its kind.Our replicas combine traditional patterns and construction with modern materials. Blades are 440C high carbon stainless steel OR Udeholm UHB stainless with a traditional tang and are factory edged. Scabbards are deep gloss lacquer or crackle finished in attractive color combinations. A wide range is available, in varying degrees of decoration, to satisfy the needs of both the martial artist and the collector. All blades are factory finish (not sharpened) and make fantastic decorations and collectibles.
